What is the promotion?
Rockstar have teamed up with O2 to give you the chance to WIN Gig Tickets every day during September and October 2009 with the purchase of promotional cans of Rockstar ‘Original’, ‘Energy Cola’, ‘Juiced – Mango’ and ‘Punched – Guava’ whilst stocks last. Promotional cans have a unique 9 digit code printed under the ring pull. Text ROCK plus the unique 9 digit code to 66102 and you’ll be entered into the daily draw to WIN Gig Tickets. What are the prizes?
There are 5 pairs of Gig Tickets to be won every day during September and October 2009. The Gig Tickets pairs of £15 O2 Academy vouchers which must be redeemed against advanced booked gig tickets at any of the 12 UK O2 Academy venues. See here for more details.
When can I enter?
Daily draws run midnight to midnight 01/09/09 to 31/10/09 inclusive. Early entries will go into the first draw. Entries made after the closing date will go into a final late entry draw on 28/02/11.
When will I find out if I’ve won?
You’ll find out the day after you entered if you’ve won.
Is there an age restriction to enter the promotion?
Entrants must be 16 years or older.

You can buy Rockstar in ASDA, WHSmith, Spar, Total, Dhamacha, Booker, Costco, Parfetts, Martin McCool, Londis, Bestway, P&H and Makro.

How to enter
How do I enter via SMS?
1. Pick up a promotional can of Rockstar Original, Rockstar Juiced, Rockstar Punched and Rockstar Energy Cola from any of these places.
2. Text ROCK plus the 9 digit unique code to 66102. You can find the code under the ring pull. You’ll receive a bounce-back text message letting you know you’ve been entered in to the draw.
Am I charged for any text messages I send to 66102?
No, there is no charge for any of the messages you send to 66102 as part of this promotion. This includes any subsequent messages you may send to claim your free O2 sims and Rockstar ringtone. However; you may be able to enter when roaming outside the UK. Please note that if you enter from outside the UK, foreign network operator charges may apply.
Am I charged for any text messages which I receive?
No, there is no charge for any of the messages we send to you as part of this promotion.
I live outside the UK, how can I enter?
If you live in the ROI, CI or IoM you can enter via email. Please note that if you try to enter via SMS you may be charged by your network operator and you won’t be entered into the draw.
How do I enter via email? (ROI, CI, IoM and NI only)
Entrants living in ROI, CI, IoM or NI can enter via email.

How will I find out if I’ve won?
If you entered via SMS, we’ll send you an SMS the following day to let you know you’ve won or not. We’ll call winners within 3 working days to arrange delivery of your prize. If you’ve entered via another method, only winners will be notified. Please note that winners selected from ROI will be asked to answer a qualifying question in order to claim your prize.
How many times can I enter?
You can enter as many times as you like as long as you have a new unique code each time. Each code is unique and will only work once so you’ll need to buy a new can and enter a new code every time you wish to take part.
Where do I find my unique 9 digit code?
The unique codes are printed under the ring pull of promotional Rockstar cans.
My code isn’t working, what do I do?
The codes contain 9 numeric characters printed under the ring pull. If you get a bounceback SMS from 66102, it’s likely that you’ve entered the code wrongly or the code has already been used. Double check the code and make sure you’ve followed the correct steps. If you don’t receive a bounceback SMS, your message may not have sent properly. Make sure you have network coverage and try again. Please note that if you live in ROI, CI or IoM you must enter via email because texting 66102 will not work. Can I enter after 31/10/09?
Yes, but you must enter via email. Entries received after 31.10.2009 and by midnight 28.02.11 will be entered into a final late entry draw to win 1 of 5 pairs of Gig Tickets. Email your unique code, plus your name, address, mobile number and where you bought the promotional can to gigtickets@rockstarenergy.co.uk. Only winners will be notified. NPN postal route is also available for eligible regions.

What if the gig costs more (or less) than the value of the voucher?
Cash must be used if there is a need to top up to meet the ticket price and no change will be given if the value of the ticket is lower than the £15 gift voucher.
How do I redeem the vouchers?
All vouchers must be redeemed through the O2 Academy box office of the venue. Please note Box Office opening times vary and should be checked before travelling.
Do the vouchers have an expiry date?
The vouchers must be redeemed within a 6 month period printed on the voucher (although the show can be outside of the 6 month period).
I live outside the UK and can’t get to an O2 Academy, is there an alternative?
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. However; winners from the ROI and NI may be offered a local alternative.

How do I claim my free sims?
Once you’ve entered the prize draw, you’ll get a bounceback SMS confirming your entry. Follow the instructions from your bounceback SMS and O2 will send you your free sims. If you want to order more, text STAR plus your name, address and postcode to 66102. Alternatively you can order online from here
When will my sims arrive?
Although the maximum delivery time is 28 days, normally they take just a few days to arrive.
What do I do when I get my sims?
Insert your O2 sim into your phone and then top up to start using your phone. To top up, call 4444 for free from your mobile or visit o2.co.uk/topup. Have your Debit/Credit card number ready and follow the simple step-by-step instructions. Remember that if you want unlimited O2-to-O2 calls and texts, you’ll need to top up a minimum of £15.
What do I do if the sim doesn’t work in my phone?
If the O2 sim doesn’t work, your phone may need to be unlocked to allow access to all networks if it is not already an O2 phone. This can be done at many high street independent phone retailers.

What is the Rockstar ringtone?
They are ringtones for your mobile phone.
How do I claim my free Rockstar ringtone?
Once you’ve entered the draw to win Gig Tickets, follow the instructions in your bounceback SMS and a link will be sent to you. Follow the link and download your ringtone.
Will it cost me anything to download the Rockstar ringtone?
You don’t have to pay for the ringtone. However; network browsing costs may occur if you don’t have an inclusive data allowance on your tariff. If you’re unsure, contact your network provider for more information on browsing costs.
I can’t download the Rockstar ringtone, what’s wrong?
Your phone must be WAP enabled. You must also have enough phone memory to save the file.
I haven't received my download. What is the problem?
Please make sure that the WAP settings on your phone are correctly configured. Depending on the brand of your mobile, you need to set the WAP Push setting to "On", "Allow all", "Always", or "Receive all". Here are some hints on where to locate this setting:

My download link has arrived, but I can't find it on my mobile phone. Where is it?
The download link is in the body of a message that Rockstar sent to your mobile phone. Depending on the brand of your phone, this message will go to your text message inbox or WAP Push inbox, also known as a "Service Inbox", "Funbox", "Browser Message Inbox", or simply "Push Inbox".
What do I do with the download link I received?
1. Open the message.
2. Scroll down to the download link.
3. Click on the link and you will be immediately connected to the Rockstar ringtone page.
4. Click on the ringtone you want to download.
5. The download will start automatically.
6. When the download is finished, just save it.
Important notice: Never click "interrupt" during the download! Wait until the download is finished.
Why can't I download when I click on the link?
WAP might not be set up correctly on your mobile phone. Please ask your network operator how to adjust your settings.
